Summery

The 2020 pandemic ushered in a new period for the healthcare industry. Seemingly overnight, the entire space became much more challenging to navigate for professionals. At the same time, demand has skyrocketed across the world, leading to a lot of available opportunities. HireCreed helps eager professionals find real-time, location-based shifts that match their personal preferences.

The Problem

Finding the 'right' talent to hire or the 'right' employer to work for can be quite a headache. HireCreed automates and simplifies the recruitment process by directly allowing jobseekers and employers to connect.

Solution

The Solution

We designed and developed an end-to-end solution to help locums and recruiters manage job applications with ease. We started with the design system and created a unique set of components to use in the web app and mobile app designs. This approach made it very clear and concise when building out the product for HireCreed.

User Flow Diagram

User flow diagrams were indispensable for us to master the user experience for HireCreed. They allowed us to understand how users will interact with the product, and the steps required to complete a task or achieve a goal.

Having this visual walkthrough helped stakeholders understand what the product should do, in what order it should present the user with information, and why each feature or page belongs where it is.

The most important aspect for us to create user flows is that they force the product team to think through their product’s interface from the user’s perspective.

Brand Indentity

We designed various brand identities to see which one would fit the companies goals and problem statement.

One key thing we were asked to think about was being able to depict a concept of two entities joining forces or working in tandem together.

Hence, the final logo represent two staircases side by side elevating together. Ultimately, representing a joint partnership.

The importance of Design Systems

Design systems are the core or standards of any good app, as many like to say. They exist to give teams a consistent and reliable ecosystem for creating, adapting, and growing an app. As the app scales or new features are added, the design system grows with every change, leaving no interpretation in the development stage. Using a design system ensures consistency in the UI and the UX across design and development at any stage in the process of building an app.

HireCreed's design system was quite extensive as we had to design for various areas of the product. These included: Web app for vendors, mobile app for jobseekers, admin panel for HireCreed staff members and finally the HireCreed website.

It was important for the whole team to understand how the app works, what the specifications of the product were and keep a change-log to help everyone stay in sync.The design system helped align the team, making everyone understand why the product exists, how their jobs affect the product, and the product’s role in the end-user’s life.

HireCreed Jobseeker App

We broke down a process that usually takes weeks or even months into just a few days with a simple four-step process; allowing jobseekers to land a new locum shift before they know it.

The app has 8 key areas which are listed below. These were important for jobseeker to have as part of their functionality. Having this allowed end-users to be able to apply, track and monitor shifts at any given time.

It was crucial to allow our end-users more visibility on shifts and keep them in touch with vendors at every moment."

HireCreed Business App

Standard methods used to find locums are tedious, inefficient, and costly. This drains the limited resources of healthcare businesses leading to greater inefficiencies and more downsides.

HireCreed Business is specifically designed to provide healthcare organizations with qualified and talented locums to meet their specific needs.

HireCreed Business App helps vendors save up to 25% of monthly work hours and 30% of their annual revenue when using the platform.

Smart Ticketing Solution

We integrated a smart ticketing solution which helps vendors raise any concerns with HireCreed customer support team. This feature would easily allow vendors to send a direct message with all the details of a particular locum directly to HireCreed.

HireCreed can then take action immediately and deal with that issue. We made it easy for both entities to communicate with one another.

Seamless KYC Process

KYC is sometimes a difficult area to tackle, especially if you are having to do KYC on thousands of locums. We had to really think about how we would design the best possible solution for this.

We eventually decided on a solution that allows admin on the backend to see data in real-time. This would mean any time a locum has signed up, they can pretty quickly see all their documents and verify them with a click of a button.

Generating Leads

While brand awareness and lead generation are often viewed as two separate activities, you can use one to benefit the other. In order to achieve business growth, you need your brand to be known and credible in combination with lead generation campaigns that arrive during the purchase cycle of a prospect. This is what delivers the greatest sales results.

This is what was extremely important for HireCreed. They wanted a landing page that not only brought in leads, but to also make a statement on a new start-up and what product they are bringing to market.

Benefits for Vendors

HireCreed made it clear to us that they wanted to showcase some visuals of how the web app would benefit vendors. So, we designed some clean, clear and concise elements that would explain this.

We came up with a structure that would breakdown all the key functions of the web app and how they will help vendors in the long-term to save time and money on locums.

Business App Features

We designed a sub landing page that would go in details of how powerful the web app is. We covered things like: Optimise earnings, Manage shifts, Access to thousands of locums and Calendar View.

These were shown with some nice visuals of the web app where it would show the end-user a taste of what they would be getting their hands onto.

Tech Stack

For the development phase, we decided to go with React Native. The app had to be available both on iOS and Android. Using React Native saved us around 30% of development time. We also developed the website in Webflow as that allowed us the most customisation as possible.
